Day 1 : Arrival in Mumbai

Arrive at International airport Mumbai. You will be warmly greeted by our tour representatives who will help you checking-in into a hotel for a leisure day and your overnight stay.

Day 2 : Mumbai Sightseeing

After breakfast visit an Elephant Caves - One of the oldest rock cut structures in the country, the Elephanta Caves are the perfect expressions of archaic Indian art associated to the cult of Lord Shiva. (Elephanta Caves closed on every Monday) Gateway of India The Gateway of India is an arch-monument built in the early twentieth century in the city of Mumbai, in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It was erected to commemorate the landing in December 1911 at Apollo Bunder, Mumbai of King-Emperor George V and Queen-Empress Mary, the first British monarch to visit India. .Prince of Wales Museum The museum showcases several collections of ancient artworks, sculptures and artifacts in its galleries. Day 3 : Mumbai – Ahmadabad (By Flight)

After breakfast drive to airport for board flight to Ahmadabad. Ahmadabad, The Sabarmati River runs through its center. On the western bank is the Gandhi Ashram at Sabarmati, which displays the spiritual leader’s living quarters and artifacts. Across the river, the Calico Museum of Textiles, once a cloth merchant's mansion, has a significant collection of antique and modern fabrics. Upon arrival check in at hotel. After that visit Akshardham Temple (Monday Closed) Akshardham is situated in the capital city of Gandhinagar, which lies near Ahmadabad. The magnificent temple is dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan. It was constructed on the directions of Pramukh Swami Maharaj, the spiritual leader of BAPS Sanstha. The complex of this temple is the largest in Gujarat. Gandhi Ashram The beautiful ashram complex of Ahmadabad, with shady trees populated by thousand of parakeets, Beaters, sunbirds, squirrels, offers a refuge from the loud streets of the city and is one of the foremost tourist attractions of Ahmadabad. This ashram was Gandhi’s head quarters during the long struggle for Indian independence. His ashram was founded in 1915 and still makes handicrafts, handmade paper and spinning wheels. This ashram is open from 8.30 AM to 6.30 PM. Later drive to Adalaj, visit step well is an architectural wonder built by Queen Rudabai and is certainly one of the finest monuments of Gujarat. It is a seven-storied structure in the form of a well with chambers one behind the other. The ‘Vav’ or stepped wells of Gujarat were used as meeting and resting-places during summer since their cool interiors offered unbelievable respite from the scorching sun outside. In the summer people warmed themselves on the spacious sunny corridors while wide verandahs offered shelter during the rains. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4 : Ahmadabad – Bhavnagar (170 Km / approx 05 Hrs)

After breakfast drive to Bhavnagar, Bhavnagar is known as the cultural centre of the state of Gujarat. Literary achievers like Govardhan Tripathi, Kavi Kant, Narsihm Mehta and Ganga Sati have their roots in Bhavnagar. While on one side, you'd see the careless waves of Gulf of Khambat, on the other hand. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Day 5 : Bhavnagar - Palitana – Sasangir (55 Km / approx 02 Hrs)

After breakfast drive to Sasangir, Sasangir Lion sanctuary is home of some 300 Asiatic Lions. Sasangir is only place in world outside African continent where lion can be seen in its natural habitat. Sasangir Wild life Sanctuary is the last refuge of Asiatic lions in India and the lion population residing in the park is a little over 300. There animal residents of the Gir national park are Sambar Deer, Chital Spotted Deer, Nilgai Antelope, Chowsingha Four-Horned Antelope, Chinkara Gazelle, Wild Boar, Langur Monkey, Jackal, and Hyena and numerous birds like Paradise Flycatcher, Bonneli's Eagle, Crested Serpent Eagle, Woodpeckers Flamingo etc. bout 10, 000 years ago lions spanned vast sections of the globe, but as the human population started to increase, trees were cut and forests were cleared to make more land for people to live in. And Asiatic lions, a subspecies that split from African lions perhaps 100,000 years ago, are only found in the Gir wildlife Sanctuary. Enroute visit the hills of Palitana are known as the ‘Abode of the Gods’ and are covered with 863 Jain temples spanning a period of over 900 years. Their finely carved spires and towers glisten in the sunlight as pilgrims make the uphill journey on foot. The climb will take about two hours each way so do carry water and a sun hat with you. Continue drive to Sasangir. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6 : Sasangir National Park

Enjoy morning and evening safari at Sasangir Jungle safari. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 7 : Sasangir National Park – Diu (66 Km / approx 02 Hrs)

After breakfast drive to Diu. Diu was ruled by a ‘Daitya’ (Demon-king) called Jallandhar, who was beheaded by Lord Vishnu with his Sudarshan-Chakra. According to the Gazetteer of Goa, Daman and Diu; Diu was known as ‘Jallandhar Ksshetra’ during Satyug. In fact, the temple of Jallandhar is still there in Diu and is a famous ancestral relic of the Demon-king. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Later enjoy at Beach. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 8 : Diu

After breakfast visit St. Paul’s church, Diu Fort & markets. St. Paul's church - St. Paul's church is dedicated to our Lady of Immaculate Conception. The construction of the church was started in 1601 and was completed in the year 1610. The main facade of the church is perhaps the most elaborate of all Portuguese churches in India. The façade has been illuminated by flood lights. The church adorned with curiously treated volutes and shell - like motifs and the magnificent wood carving is considered to be the most elaborate of all the Portuguese churches in India. St. Paul Church, built in 1691 is consecrated to our Lady of Immaculate Conception. In architectural style it resembles Bom Jesus Church at Goa. The dominant features are, no doubt, Gothic. The wood - paneling of the church is rated one of the best in church craftsmanship Diu Fort: It is an expansive and imposing structure, situated on the coast of the island. Evening enjoy at beach. Day 9 : Diu – Somnath (85 Km / approx 03 Hrs)

After breakfast drive to Somnath, upon arrival check in at hotel. Later visit Somnath Temple - A lord Shiva temple known as Jyotirlinga built by Moon God, Bhalka Tirth, and Triveni Ghat. Day 10 : Somnath – Porabandar - Dwarka (85 Km / approx 03 Hrs)

After breakfast drive to Dwarka, Bet Dwarka – Also known as Bet Shankhoddar, It is said to be the place where Lord Krishna lived with his family when the ruled at Dwarka. It is also the place where Vishnu slew the demon Shankhasura. Visitors make it a point to visit the Krishna temple at this site which holds much of interest to be seen and experienced. Day 11 : Dwarka

Attend early morning Aarti at Dwarkadhish temple, Return to breakfast at hotel & thereafter visit Bet Dwarka, Nageshwar Jyotirlinga & Rukmani Temple. Nageswar Mahadev – The Puranas mention 12 Jyotirlinga or columns of light representing Lord Shiva, who manifested himself in that form in different parts of India.
