The Valley of Flowers is a world heritage site and is part of the famous Nanda Devi Biosphere. It covers 87 sq kms and rises to an elevation of 3250 meters. This national park in the far interiors of Garhwal Himalayas (Uttarakhand) plays host too many endemic varieties of alpine flowers and plants.

On arrive check in at hotel and stay. Joshimath is also known as Jyotirmath which is the winter seat of Shri Badrinath. Narsingh temple at Joshimath is the winter seat of Badrinath where people worships six months during winter when the main temple remains close. Jyotirmath was established by Aadi Guru Shankaracharya. Day 02: Joshimath – Auli – Joshimath After breakfast take rope way (at your own cost) to visit Auli. You can also do the Skiing in Auli (at your own cost), National Championships of Snow Skiing held every year in February/March. Skiing competition takes place at Auli skiing slopes in which skiers from within and outside the country take part in this event. Cultural programmes are also organized to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Uttarakhand to the participants. The tourist can visit in Auli in any season. Later drive to Joshimath. On arrive check in at hotel and stay. Day 03: Joshimath - Govindghat – Ghangaria [06 hrs trek] After breakfast, drive to Govindghat and star trek 14 km – Govindghat which is the starting point for the trek. From Govindghat there is a gradual ascent along a well - maintained pilgrim trail to the camp at Ghangaria - the base from where day walks can be made into the valley of flowers. Arrange porters and prepare for the trek. After a light breakfast, 14 km trek up to Ghangaria. On arrive check in hotel. Overnight stay at Ghangaria. Day 04: Ghangaria - Valley Of Flowers – Ghangaria This morning post breakfast trek for around 5kms to Valley Of Flowers (3858 m) from Ghangaria. The valley is an enchanting sight with an impressive array of rare wildflowers like brahma kamal, fane Kamal with range of small multicolored flowers make it a delight for travelers. The snowclad peaks including Nilgiri Parbat (6474 m) stand in bold relief against the skyline. The valley is 10 kms long, 2 kms wide, and is divided by the Pushpawati stream, into which several tiny streams and waterfalls merge. After enjoying the beauty of valley we come back to Ghangaria. Overnight stay at Ghangaria. Day 05: Ghangaria – Hemkund Sahib – Ghangaria This morning post breakfast trek for around 6 km trek to Hemkundsahib (4329 m) from Ghangaria. This is quite a steep climb. In the Sikh holy book, the Granth Sahib, the Sikh Guru Gobind Singh recounts that in a previous life, he meditated on the shores of a lake surrounded by seven snowcapped mountains now recognized by Hemkund. Visit Lake & Gurudwara. Post visiting the lake and Gurudwara trek back to Ghangaria. Overnight stay at Ghangaria. Day 06: Ghangaria – Govindghat – Rudraprayag After breakfast proceed to Govindghat, later drive to Rudraprayag. On arrive check in at hotel and stay. Day 07: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh – Dehradun After breakfast drive to Dehradun airport via Rishikesh. On arrive transfer to hotel. Later we proceed for local sightseeing like Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula and visit some ashrams. Later continue drive to Dehradun airport to board your flight. Tour Complete with lots of sweet memories.
